tinkerbell cosplay at dallas fan days

Dress by Me
My Tinkerbell cosplay was a huge hit this past weekend at Fan Days. I had many people stop me for pictures and even some little ones coming running asking for a picture or hug. I always enjoy seeing little kids faces light up when they see their favorite characters, but it's also just as amazing seeing adults do the same thing. Tinkerbell will be at other conventions in the future as well since it was such a huge hit. So if you missed out on a picture this time no worries! I enjoyed meeting new people and seeing old friends, thanks for being so sweet and for all the compliments.

Sarah Sanderson cosplay

Today is the start of Fan Days! Sadly I won't be able to make it to the convention today but I will be at the after-party later dressed as Sarah Sanderson! This is absolutely my favorite cosplay so far and I made almost all of it by hand. My favorite part is the cape, I am so in love with it, I may just start wearing capes all the time! It was also a super easy costume to make as well. I will be wearing her again saturday at Fan Days for the costume contest so if you're going to be there be sure to say hi to me!

Disney trip!

Disney is always updating their parks and adding little extras to make the parks more interesting. Some of my favorites are Rapunzel's tower/little town area, the beauty in the beast village which has Gaston's tavern, and snow white's house which appears at the end of the seven dwarfs ride, and on the side of her house you can see the evil queen at the door waiting to give snow a delicious red apple.

Disney Day 2

Disneyworld day 2 was super busy and so much fun! September is definitely the time to go as it was not crowded at all! We walked up on just about every ride at Hollywood Studios, we even went through the new Frozen exhibits no problem! And at Disney Quest there was no wait for any games and you could play as many times as you like. When we finally reached Epcot the Test track ride was a 20 minute wait so we skipped that, but everything else we walked right up to. My day at Disney was great yet again and now for some sleep so I can rest before another busy busy day tomorrow!

Fix it Felix gameAt Disney Quest they added a couple of Fit it Feliz games. It's exactly like the ones from the Wreck it Ralph movie, and fun to play. Almost like the old school Donkey Kong.
Disneyworld epcot ballEpcot Ball! The ride in this thing is one of my favorite's. Even though it is slow I love going through it.

disneyworld countries germany  We visited the countries around Epcot before heading out. Germany is one of my favorites.
norway statue at epcotNorway has the coolest little ride that tells a little about Norway's past and present. They also added a Frozen exhibit (behind the statue) that shows the inspiration they used from Norways culture to make the film.
pizza planet at hollywood studios PIZZA PLANET! YAY!
star tours rideThe Star Tours ride is super awesome!
More from the Star tours ride.
cinderella carrageI love the crystal statues they have all around the parks. I want one so bad but sadly cannot afford it.

Disney day 1

Our first stop in Disney was the Magic Kingdom and when we arrived I saw it was all decorated up for Fall! I love the fall season, and seeing all the halloween themed props around the park made me so happy! We have been going going going since 5am this morning and I am whooped, but the day is not over yet. We still have reservations at the Whispering canon cafe and then back inside Magic Kingdom to watch the fireworks. I am going to sleep like a baby tonight then wake up ready for another busy day!

fall pumpkins at magic kingdom The pumpkins on Main street USA at Magic Kingdom were so BIG!
snow white's cottage at magic kingdomWe got the chance to ride the new snow white ride and it was so much fun! Definitely a must see if you visit Magic Kingdom.
7 dwarfs mine train at magic kingdom Inside the Seven Dwarfs Mine train you got to see lots of pretty diamonds! It was my favorite part of the ride. Thinking of posting a video of it later.
mickey pumpkin at disney magic kingdom More Fall decorations. I love the Mickey shaped pumpkins. These ones are fake but the ones at epcot are real and naturally shaped to look like Mickey.

Disney bound!

I have been SUPER busy lately getting ready to go to Disneyworld and Universal studios which is one reason why I have neglected my blog these past few days. :( So I apologize, but as I'm in disney i will post pictures and updates of my adventures and photoshoots so be sure to check back. Also here are some old Disney pictures from my past Disney trips. The first few from Disneyland California and the last few from Disneyland Paris. When I get back from my trip I will also do a review on all the Disney places I have been as well as the new Harry potter land at universal!
sleeping beauty statue at disneyland california The beautiful statue from Disneyland California. I love the Sleeping beauty castle there because you can go inside it! (And it's pink!)
Flo's cafe in carsland at disneyland California CarsLand is definiely a sight to see. I love it even more at night when all the Neon lights come on and really make the place light up!
carsland cozy cone motel at disneyland The cozy cone was so adorable and in the "motels" you could pick up a cars themed snack or drink.
Alice in wonderland maze at disneyland parisThis was the Alice in wonderland maze at Disneyland Paris. Alice is one of my favorite Disney characters and once I saw this I freaked. The maze is like walking through the one in wonderland and you even see some familiar faces along the way until you finally reach the Queen's castle. But be careful she's still in bad mood.
sleeping beautys castle at disneyland parisThe sleeping beauty castle in Paris was beyond amazing. It is my favorite castle Disney has made because not only can you go inside, but the decorations inside are just phenomenal. They have tapestries, paintings, and even stained glass windows telling the story of sleeping beauty.
pirate ship at disneyland parisThe pirates ride was also one of the best one's I have been on. It has a lot more to look at and kept to the original design.

Ronald Mcdonald House.

Last Saturday some fellow cosplayers and I volunteered at the Ronald Mcdonald house in Fort Worth to help cheer up some families dressed as super heros and princesses (I dressed as Alice). This was my first time to volunteer at an event like this and normally I'm not good with kids but these kids were so well mannered, polite, and so appreciative to see us and spend time with real superheros and princesses. Even the adults were excited to see us and so sweet and thankful that we were there. I had a great time and enjoyed playing games, running around, and taking photos with the adorable little ones. It was such a blessing to be there and can not wait for the next event.

Alice and The Red Queen

Alice and the Red Queen cosplay
Geline Spinks from gelinespinksphotography and I cosplaying as The Red Queen and Alice. Geline took a punk rock/edgy turn for her red queen cosplay and I added a little some platform shoes to make my Alice special. Over all I enjoyed this cosplay and running around taking pics with Geline.

Another from the Alice shoot. This was back when I had the perfect hair to cosplay as Alice, but that's what wigs are for.

Alice in wonderland

my alice in wonderland cosplay
By Geline Spinks Photography
This saturday I will be one of the many cosplayers volunteering at the Ronald Mcdonald house to put smiles on the childrens faces. I have never done an event like this and I am pretty excited about it. I wanted to stick with a Disney theme since more kids can recognize those characters, so I chose my Classic Alice cosplay. The photo is from an adventure with my friend Geline to the auboritum when they had the Alice in wonderland area set up I dressed as Alice and she dressed as the Red Queen. Our costumes had a lot of hits and people asking to take photos or even asking if we worked there. I'll be posting more photos of Alice and the Red queen later on so be sure to check back soon.
